Marketing for Small Business Owners & Freelancers

5 week online course and accountability program

CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR ENROLMENTS

Who it’s for

This course was designed specifically for freelancers and small business owners who find marketing an uncomfortable and frustrating experience.

You may already have a business in need of new clients or you may be considering starting something new (yay!!). Regardless of where you’re up to, spending money on things like websites, design and copywriting is pointless if you’re not crystal clear on the grand plan.

The grand plan?

What you do and who you do it for.

Sounds obvious, doesn’t it?

If the answer to the question “how are you going to stand out from the crowd” doesn’t roll off your tongue as quickly as the answer to “more wine anyone?”, then it’s no surprise you’re feeling stuck.

But the good news is that it’s all pretty logical stuff.

You just have to think about it in the right way. And none of it is technical or complicated, so don’t worry about being out of your depth.

How it works

The easiest way that I’ve come up with to answer the question “how are you going to stand out from the crowd?” is to go back to the beginning. This course walks you through the steps that I follow in my web design and copywriting business when I’m working out how to approach each new client project.

Each step has videos to explain the concepts as clearly and concisely as possible and worksheets to help apply the concepts to your own business.

After doing Sandy’s course, I felt more confident in marketing my business. Sandy knows her stuff and gives easy and actionable advice to improve your marketing. I definitely recommend this course.

Keeping you accountable

Figuring this sort of stuff out is hard when you haven’t done it before (or even if you have).

You’re probably confident when you’re talking about the thing that you do, but when you’ve got to talk about yourself, nothing seems to come out right.

When you’re paddling along on your own, it can be enough to make you want to abandon ship and swim to safety. But that won’t be necessary, because the good ship Sandy will be floating beside you every step of the way.

In our private Facebook course coaching group, you’ll be guided through the course, one week at a time. You’ll get to see how you can shine a light on the bits of you which glow with confidence so that your marketing naturally attracts the type of customers who you like to work with.

And I’ll be there to answer your questions, give you feedback and stare at you with beady eyes if you’re lagging behind.

Course access

The course is delivered through an online learning management system which keeps everything in one tidy place.

Support for the course runs for five weeks, but you’ll have access to the course content for 12 months.

New content each week to keep you on task

Each week you’ll get access to the next section of the course, so you’ll have enough time to watch the videos and complete between one and three worksheets. This will stop you from getting ahead of yourself before you’ve done what you need to do.

Weekly coaching calls

You’ll have access to the weekly group video coaching calls where I’ll open the floor for questions and check-in with how everyone’s going.

Closed Facebook group

You’ll have access to the closed Facebook coaching group where you can ask questions, interact with the other brave souls who will be doing the course at the same time as you or just loiter silently in the shadows.

Before this course, my marketing felt disjointed and impersonal. I wasn’t communicating what makes my business unique because I was afraid to be different, and because of that I wasn’t attracting great clients. Sandy’s simple, actionable approach and advice turned this around, and I can honestly say I’ve never felt more confident in the way I talk about my business. It’s not just me, either – my website traffic is up and my clients are now exactly the people I want to attract!

What it costs

The cost of this round of the course is AU$750 including GST.

This can be paid in one lump sum by credit card or in five equal instalments by credit card.

Freelancer-friendly payment option

I’m a firm believer in saving up for things until you can afford them. But I also know that if your business isn’t firing on all cylinders you may not have a little nest egg that you could draw on, to get things moving.

To solve this chicken and egg problem, I’m offering a common-sense solution in the form of a payment plan for anyone who needs it.

It’s not a subscription or membership, just five equal payments with the first one when you enrol and the fifth one, five weeks after that.

For this round of the course, each of the five weekly payments will be $150, paid automatically by credit card.
